COURTHOUSE HOURS

Beginning January 2, 2026 the Pittsburg County Courthouse hours will change to 8:00a.m.- 4:30p.m. Monday-Friday. Except for holidays otherwise posted.

THANKSGIVING CLOSURE

The County Courthouse, Animal Shelter, Election Board, District Shops and all other Offices will be closed starting at noon Wednesday November 26 and will remain closed 27-28th 2025 for Thanksgiving

Pet of the week is Pooch. Pooch is a 7 year old Great Pyrenees male that has had no socialization and has spent his whole life guarding goats. In the short time he has been at the shelter he has warmed up to the staff tremendously. He just needs a little tlc. But also a great goat protector
